A Gallery was established in September 2016 with the belief that artistic perception is a means by which human beings can develop percipience and from there, a belief in the evolving magic of art in creating greater awareness and evolving societies. A Gallery hopes to play a role in introducing art to the lives of Iranians and to serve as a bridge between artists and society.

To this effect, the gallery’s physical space is ideally suited to carry out an ambitious program of activities. Two large exhibition rooms provide a free reign for artists to exhibit in a variety of media, whilst a 60 square meter porch provides a independent space for workshops and performance shows. Our cinema hall has been used to screen fiction films and documentary narratives and for introducing artists from Iran and other countries. Our cozy café is a place to meet and talk, unveil artistic and cultural events and host speeches.

A Gallery at Teer Art week 2019

“In parenthesis” is a fluid project between freedom and compulsion. A movement within some predetermined boundaries whose determination does not stop artistic creation from evolution.” In parenthesis” is a project based on provision, planning and foresight, which knows well its outcome is not going to be predictable. It is a realm as broad and dense as the life of contemporary Iranian artists in their unpredictable homeland. This project intends to make thorough use of all the sources our daily life provides us for artistic creation.
